Las actividades programadas para el próximo mes de marzo están organizadas por el Ayuntamiento de Caravaca y la asociación ‘Unidad y Fraternidad’

13/02/19. Caravaca se suma a la celebración del ‘Día de la Fraternidad’ con la realización de varias actividades y un acto institucional, organizados de forma conjunta por la Concejalía de Servicios Sociales del Consistorio caravaqueño y la asociación ‘Unidad y Fraternidad’.

            La edil que dirige el área, María José Soria, junto a los representantes dicha asociación local, Mari Carmen Giménez y Juan Fernández, han realizado un llamamiento a la participación, ya que el objetivo es promover entre personas de todas las edades, y de forma especial entre los jóvenes, el desarrollo de la cultura del diálogo, el compromiso con fraternidad, la paz, la solidaridad y los derechos humanos.

            El Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz y la Asociación ‘Unidad y Fraternidad’ han consensuado con representantes de los cuatro grupos políticos que conforman la Corporación Municipal un programa de actividades que incluye la convocatoria de un Concurso de Dibujo, dirigido a escolares de Educación Infantil y Primaria; un Certamen de Relatos Cortos, para estudiantes de Enseñanzas Medias; una Mesa Redonda, para abordar la fraternidad desde diferentes ámbitos de la sociedad, y el acto institucional.

            La mesa redonda se celebrará el lunes 18 de marzo, a las 20.00 horas, en la Casa de la Cultura ‘Emilio Sáez’, con el título ‘La fraternidad, las relaciones sociales y la participación ciudadana’. La misma estará moderada por representantes de Juventudes Socialistas y Nuevas Generaciones y contará con la participación del abogado, diplomático de la Unión Europea y experto en Cooperación y Política Internacional Fernando López de Rego y de investigadora, docente y directora de Eticambio (empresa de comercio justo) Rocío Ortiz Galindo.

El acto institucional tendrá lugar en el Salón de Plenos del Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz el sábado 23 de marzo; a las 12.00 horas. En el transcurso del mismo se leerá un manifiesto y se realizará la entrega de premios de los dos concursos convocados con motivo del ‘Día de la Fraternidad’.

            El Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz aprobó en Pleno su adhesión a la Asociación ‘Ciudades por la Fraternidad’ (CxF). Esta asociación, constituida el pasado mes de septiembre, está actualmente formada por cinco ayuntamientos (Aínsa-Sobrarbe, de Huesca;  Don Álvaro, de Badajoz; Caravaca de la Cruz, de Murcia; Utrillas, de Teruel y Platja D’Aro, de Girona), junto a seis asociaciones: Humanidad Nueva España, de ámbito nacional; Unidad y Fraternidad, de Caravaca de la Cruz; ACLF Aljucer, de Murcia; Ganbo  Iturri,  del  País  Vasco;  Levántate  y  Anda,  de  Coslada;  y  Humanitá  Nova,  de Cataluña;  y  más  de  sesenta  socios  a  título  individual    de  Badajoz,  Donostia,  Girona, Granada,  Huesca,  Madrid,  Murcia,  Sevilla,  Teruel  y  Toledo;  que  han  decido  crear  un espacio  de  trabajo  permanente  de  experiencias  positivas,  que  se  pongan  en  red  y  se multipliquen, donde se manifiesten valores como la paz, los derechos humanos, la justicia social y especialmente, la fraternidad universal.
