El alcalde de Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno, presidió la Mesa de Coordinación Policial para la Violencia de Género, de la que forman parte los mandos de la Guardia Civil, Policía Local y las técnicos del Centro de Atención a las Mujeres Víctimas de Violencia de Género (CAVI) y de la Mancomunidad de Servicios Sociales del Noroeste. El libro ‘Los animeros de Caravaca. Tradición musical y revitalización en las cuadrillas del sureste español’, de Julio Guillén Navarro y la editorial ‘Gollarín’, se presenta hoy, miércoles 6 de marzo, a las 20.00 horas, en Murcia (salón de actos de Cajamurcia, Plaza del Romea 4).

Por sexto año, la Concejalía de Turismo del Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz oferta el programa de itinerarios guiados por el campo, las pedanías y la huerta caravaqueña. En esta edición se introducen contenidos novedosos y los recorridos se extienden a municipios vecinos, con un pasado común, de la Comarca del Noroeste, la Sierra de Segura y la Comarca de los Vélez.

Un total de 400 deportistas se dan cita este domingo, 3 de marzo, en la XIX edición del ‘Duatlón Caravaca de la Cruz’, que organiza la Concejalía de Deportes del Consistorio caravaqueño, con la colaboración de la Federación de Triatlón de la Región de Murcia (FTRM), siendo una de las pruebas puntuables para la Liga Regional de Duatlón 2019.

La Escuela Municipal de Ajedrez ha estrenado un aula para sus sesiones semanales, en dependencias municipales junto a la Plaza del Arco.
La Escuela se puso en marcha hace cuatro cursos y en este periodo de tiempo ha pasado a ser una de las escuelas a nivel regional con mayor presencia en los diferentes torneos del circuito regional. Cuenta con dos grupos: ‘Iniciación’ (para niños y niñas con edades a partir de los cinco años) y ‘Perfeccionamiento y competición’.
Además, forma parte del programa de fomento del deporte de base ‘Escuelas Deportivas Municipales’, compuesto este curso 2018/2019 por un total de 16 disciplinas, con más de 1.600 matriculados.

El Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz se suma el 8 de marzo a la celebración del ‘Día Internacional de la Mujer’ con varias actividades que se sucederán lo largo de la jornada y que concluirán con el acto homenaje a la ‘Mujer Empresaria’ y ‘Mujer Trabajadora’ de 2019.

La Concejalía de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz, con la Asociación Cultural de Arte ‘El Jardinico’, la Asociación para la Defensa de la Naturaleza ‘Caralluma’ y la Federación de Cine-Clubs de la Región de Murcia, ha programado la tercera edición del Ciclo de Cine Medioambiental.
La programación está formada por cuatro proyecciones en el teatro Thuillier, de acceso gratuito, que tendrán lugar a las 21.30 horas, durante los próximos cuatro miércoles.
