La Junta Local de Seguridad, presidida por el alcalde y por el secretario general de la Delegación del Gobierno, ha aprobado el Plan de Seguridad y Emergencias que se despliega del 1 al 5 de mayo

 

El plan recoge la presencia de 64 ambulancias de traslado y asistenciales durante todas las fiestas, así como un Puesto Médico Avanzado en la mañana del 2 de mayo

 

18/04/2024. La Junta Local de Seguridad de Caravaca de la Cruz, reunida en el Salón del Plenos del Consistorio, ha aprobado el Plan de Seguridad y Emergencias de las Fiestas Moros, Cristianos y Caballos del Vino en honor a la Vera Cruz, elaborado por la Concejalía de Seguridad Ciudadana y Tráfico del Ayuntamiento caravaqueño.

 

El alcalde, José Francisco García, y el secretario general de la Delegación del Gobierno en la Región de Murcia, Francisco Jiménez, han presidido la reunión donde se han dado cita representantes de los cuerpos y fuerzas de seguridad, de los servicios sanitarios y de emergencia, así como de la Cofradía de la Vera Cruz y Comisión de Festejos.

 

El plan recoge la participación de 400 efectivos en los dispositivos que se desplegarán del 1 al 5 de mayo, así como en los actos más multitudinarios previos a la celebración de las fiestas. Igualmente, dentro de los servicios sanitarios, se contempla el despliegue de 50 ambulancias, más 14 asistenciales de Soporte Vital Avanzado y dos puestos de Cruz Roja. Además, el 2 de mayo, coincidiendo con el desarrollo de la carrera de los Caballos del Vino, estará operativo un Puesto Médico Avanzado, equipado con una unidad de quirófano y otra de enfermería gracias a la colaboración prestara por Hospital Ribera.

 

 

Por otra parte, la Guardia Civil se verá reforzada con la presencia de unidades especiales, sumando un total de 50 agentes. La Policía Local prestará durante todas las fiestas un servicio especial preventivo con su plantilla al completo. Por su parte, Protección Civil y Cruz Roja sumarán más de un centenar de voluntarios procedentes de distintos municipios de la Región de Murcia.

 

Este año, en el festejo de los Caballos del Vino, se reforzará con agentes de seguridad privada los accesos a la Cuesta del Castillo, con el fin de controlar el paso de personas al recorrido del concurso de Carrera.

 

José Francisco García ha expresado que “se trata de un dispositivo complejo, que no siempre está la vista, pero que, gracias la profesionalidad de sus efectivos y a la experiencia acumulada, garantiza la seguridad de todos los caravaqueños y visitantes que se concentran en la ciudad para disfrutar de las fiestas patronales”.
