La muestra, abierta hasta el 31 de mayo, reúne los diez primeros premios del Concurso de Enjaezamiento, los ascensos de categoría y, como novedad, incorpora el vestuario de las amazonas mayor e infantil

En la inauguración, el alcalde ha destacado “la extraordinaria capacidad creativa y artística que hay detrás de cada una de auténticas obras de arte, resultado de un gran trabajo en equipo”

 

 

15/05/2026. La sala de la antigua Compañía de Jesús de Caravaca de la Cruz acoge la exposición de los enjaezamientos de los Caballos del Vino 2026, una muestra organizada conjuntamente por el Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz, a través de sus Concejalías de Festejos y Cultura, y el Bando de los Caballos del Vino. La exposición permanecerá abierta al público hasta el próximo 31 de mayo, de lunes a domingo, en horario de 11.00 a 14.00 y de 18.00 a 21.00 horas.

 

La muestra reúne los ‘mantos’ que los Caballos del Vino lucieron el pasado 2 de mayo, en el marco de la celebración de las fiestas patronales, y permite contemplar de cerca algunas de las obras más destacadas del Concurso de Enjaezamiento. En concreto, se exhiben los diez primeros premios del primer bloque, así como los ascensos de categoría de un certamen en el que la Peña Universo obtuvo el primer puesto, seguida de la peña Júpiter y la peña Caprichoso.

Como novedad este año, la exposición incorpora el vestuario que lucieron las amazonas mayor e infantil, Mónica García y Triana Fernández, ampliando así el recorrido expositivo.

 

 

Durante el acto inaugural, el alcalde de Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, acompañado del hermano mayor del Bando de la Cofradía de la Vera Cruz, Jesús López Baquero, y de representantes del Bando de los Caballos del Vino, destacó “la extraordinaria capacidad creativa y artística que hay detrás de cada enjaezamiento, auténticas obras de arte que son el resultado de un trabajo en equipo”.

 

El regidor señaló además que “los Caballos del Vino viven una constante evolución, manteniendo intacta su esencia y sumando cada vez una mayor implicación social, lo que demuestra el fuerte vínculo de la sociedad caravaqueña con una celebración única y profundamente identitaria”. Asimismo, puso en valor “el carácter efímero de estas creaciones, una circunstancia que forma parte de su magia y que convierte cada edición en irrepetible”.

 

 

La exposición ofrece a vecinos y visitantes la oportunidad de admirar el minucioso trabajo artesanal del bordado, así como la creatividad, innovación y dedicación que caracterizan a los Caballos del Vino, una manifestación cultural y festiva declarada por la UNESCO Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad.
