Caravaca firma el protocolo de adhesión del municipio al Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística SICTED como apuesta por la seguridad y diferenciación del destino

Las empresas y organismos de servicios turísticos que se unen al SICTED tienen acceso de forma gratuita a un plan de formación, a la asistencia técnica de asesores homologados y a talleres, así como a la creación de grupos de trabajo que desarrollan propuestas específicas de mejora

La seguridad para el turista se convierte en uno de los principales valores para recuperar a un destino turístico frente a la fuerte crisis en la que estamos inmersos, por eso el desarrollo de planes de calidad son muy importantes para un lugar como Caravaca de la Cruz”, ha destacado el concejal de Turismo, José Carlos Gómez

El SICTED está avalado por la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo, con el apoyo del de la Federación Española de Municipios y Provincias, y para su implantación el Ayuntamiento caravaqueño ha suscrito con convenio de colaboración con la Comunidad Autónoma

Actualmente en España hay 214 destinos turísticos tienen acreditado este compromiso de calidad y mejora continua.

01/02/2021. El Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz se sumará al Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística Española en Destino (SICTED). Para ello, se ha firmado el protocolo de adhesión del municipio a este sistema, avalado por la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo, con el apoyo de la Federación Española de Municipios y Provincias y, en este caso, del Gobierno de la Región de Murcia.

El Consistorio caravaqueño, a través de su Concejalía de Turismo, ha suscrito un convenio de colaboración con la Dirección General de Competitividad y Calidad Turística de la Comunidad Autónoma para conseguir este importante sello de calidad que supone un reconocimiento a la seguridad, calidad, posicionamiento y diferenciación.

Las empresas, organismos e instituciones de servicios turísticos que se unen al sistema de gestión SICTED tienen acceso de forma gratuita a un plan de formación, a visitas de asistencia técnica por parte de asesores especializados y homologados, a una oferta de talleres o seminarios colectivos, así como a la creación y seguimiento de grupos de trabajo que desarrollan propuestas específicas de mejora”, tal y como ha detallado el concejal responsable del área, José Carlos Gómez.

El proceso -ha añadido José Carlos Gómez- “culmina con la obtención de este distintivo, que avala oficialmente el esfuerzo y el compromiso con la calidad y la mejora continua, a la vez que destaca al establecimiento o al destino en conjunto frente a su competencia”.

El concejal de Turismo ha recordado que ya se dieron los primeros pasos con la obtención del sello de calidad 'Safe Tourism Certified' para la Oficina Municipal de Turismo de Caravaca de la Cruz, lo que garantiza que los usuarios están haciendo uso de un servicio público controlado y protegido con medidas de prevención de la COVID-19, gracias al desarrollo de planes de contingencia, limpieza y mantenimiento y formación de todo el personal.

La seguridad para el turista se convierte en uno de los principales valores para recuperar a un destino turístico frente a la fuerte crisis en la que estamos inmersos, por eso el desarrollo y cumplimiento de sistemas de calidad como el SICTED los consideramos de vital importancia para un lugar como Caravaca de la Cruz, donde se puede disfrutar de múltiples recursos patrimoniales, naturales o gastronómicos, entre otros”, ha señalado el concejal de Turismo.

El SICTED es una metodología que proporciona un sistema de gestión de calidad homogéneo en los servicios que se ofertan al turista y tiene un enfoque hacia la innovación y puesta en valor de los recursos diferenciadores. Se basa en la conciencia integral de destino, englobando tanto los servicios turísticos propiamente dichos como aquellos otros que, sin serlo estrictamente, inciden en el itinerario de consumo del visitante.

Actualmente en España participan 214 destinos turísticos, con 8.626 empresas adheridas. En la Región de Murcia, por el momento, son ocho los municipios que ya han conseguido estar adscritos al sistema.
