En sintonía con el lema de este año ‘Turismo para un crecimiento inclusivo’, el Ayuntamiento implantará de forma permanente un sistema de códigos bidi y maqueta táctil en el Castillo que facilita la visita a personas con discapacidad visual

En cuanto a las actividades puntuales, se han programado para este sábado visitas a la torre campanario de la parroquia de El Salvador y para el domingo una nueva edición de la ruta guiada por el casco histórico ‘El nombre de las calles y las cosas’

Además, durante todo el fin de semana habrá jornadas de puertas abiertas a los museos, excepto al de la Fiesta que está cerrado temporalmente por obras de ampliación y reforma

Caravaca de la Cruz conmemora con un programa especial de actividades -que se celebrarán a lo largo de este fin de semana con aforos adaptados y el resto de medidas de prevención sanitarias- el ‘Día Mundial del Turismo’. Además de los actos puntuales, en sintonía con el lema propuesto por la Organización Mundial del Turismo (OMT) ‘Turismo para un crecimiento inclusivo’, en los próximos días el Ayuntamiento estrenará en el Castillo y en la Real Basílica de la Vera Cruz un novedoso sistema guiado, junto a una maqueta táctil del monumento, para facilitar la visita guiada a las personas con discapacidad visual.

El concejal de Turismo, José Carlos Gómez, ha informado de las visitas guiadas propuestas para esta edición del ‘Día Mundial del Turismo’, así como de la celebración de jornadas de puertas abiertas a la red de museos del municipio para este sábado y domingo, 25 y 26 de septiembre. En la presentación de las actividades ha estado acompañado por el párroco de El Salvador y vicario episcopal de la zona pastoral Caravaca-Mula, David Martínez Robles, así como por el coordinador de los museos, Indalecio Pozo, y la responsable del área municipal de Turismo, Mari Carmen Robles. PresentacionActividadeDiaMundialTurismo01b

 

 “Además de nuevas visitas guiadas a espacios hasta ahora cerrados como la torre campanario de la iglesia mayor de El Salvador o una ruta por los lugares cargados de historia y leyendas del casco antiguo, en los últimos meses hemos realizado una apuesta para empezar a posicionar a la ciudad como un referente del turismo inclusivo a nivel regional”, ha señalado el concejal José Carlos Gómez, quien ha informado que el nuevo sistema de códigos bidi es detectado por la cámara de los dispositivos móviles en movimiento, a distancia y estando en el bolsillo, facilitando información y la dirección a seguir a aquellas personas con discapacidad visual. El Castillo de Caravaca es uno de los pioneros en la Región de Murcia en la implantación de este servicio turístico, junto a otros espacios emblemáticos como el Museo Teatro Romano de Cartagena y el Museo Arqueológico de Murcia.

En el Castillo de Caravaca también se instalará, una vez finalizada la obra de restauración de la fachada en las próximas semanas, una maqueta tifológica fabricada en bronce que permitirá percibir a través del tacto las características y detalles de este espacio monumental.

En cuanto a las actividades puntuales ofertadas con motivo del ‘Día Mundial del Turismo’, se encuentra la visita a la torre campanario de El Salvador, que tendrá lugar este sábado 25 de septiembre, con cuatro pases y plazas limitadas adaptadas al aforo (10.30, 11.00, 16.30 y 17.00 horas.

La Concejalía de Turismo también oferta la una cuarta edición de la ruta guiada ‘El nombre de las calles y las cosas” para este domingo, 26 de septiembre, a las 10.00 horas, que partiendo de la Plaza del Arco recorrerá numerosos lugares del casco antiguo impregnados de historia y leyendas. Para participar estas actividades gratuitas, es necesario reserva previa de plaza en la Oficina Municipal de Turismo, a través de los teléfonos 968 70 24 24 ó 678 650 795.

Estas visitas guiadas, se complementarán con jornadas de puertas abiertas a la red de museos durante el sábado y el domingo, 25 y 26 de septiembre (excepto al Museo de la Fiesta que permanece cerrado al público de manera temporal por obras de ampliación y reforma). El Museo José Carrilero y el Centro de Interpretación de la Naturaleza de las Fuentes del Marqués también requieren de reserva previa (968 705 620).
