El alcalde, José Francisco García, ha participado en el encuentro entre ayuntamientos, donde se han puesto en marcha acciones para relanzar y promocionar la ruta turística y cultural ‘Huellas de Teresa’

 

Dentro de la estrategia de marketing digital, se ha presentado un proyecto pionero que permite realizar una peregrinación virtual por los destinos a través de la web www.peregrinacionvirtualteresiana.com

 

. La red de ciudades españolas ‘Huellas de Teresa’, de la que forma parte Caravaca de la Cruz, ha celebrado en Ávila su asamblea general coincidiendo con el inicio del Año Jubilar concedido a la ciudad abulense con motivo del 400 aniversario de la canonización de Santa Teresa de Jesús.

 

        El alcalde, José Francisco García -que ha agradecido el recibimiento por parte del Ayuntamiento y los Padres Carmelitas de Ávila- ha dicho que “el grupo de ciudades con fundaciones directas de Santa Teresa retoma con fuerza su actividad conjunta, emprendiendo acciones de promoción turística centradas fundamentalmente en el ámbito digital, que servirán para dar a conocer cada uno de los destinos”. Así, ha señalado que ‘Huelas de Teresa’ es un proyecto que “viene a completar la fuerza que Caravaca de la Cruz tiene como destino de peregrinación y turismo religioso”, destacando que “en los últimos dos años se han dado en el municipio importantes pasos para la recuperación del patrimonio vinculado a los dos grandes místicos universales, con la reforma de la Casa de San Juan de la Cruz y la adquisición pública del Convento de San José de las Madres Carmelitas”

 

        Coincidiendo con la celebración de la primera asamblea general presencial que tiene lugar en una de las Ciudades Teresianas tras la irrupción de la pandemia, se ha puesto en marcha un proyecto pionero que permite realizar una peregrinación virtual por 13 de las ciudades donde Santa Teresa creó fundaciones. Esta acción forma parte de la estrategia de marketing digital presentada en la última edición de la Feria Internacional de Turismo de Madrid (FITUR). A través del portal web www.peregrinacionvirtualteresiana.com, el usuario se embarca en un viaje que le invita a descubrir la historia y el patrimonio de las ciudades, avanzando de etapa tras completar correctamente las preguntas planteadas. Todas las personas que participen en esta iniciativa como peregrinos virtuales recibirán con asiduidad información de valor de cada una de las ciudades teresianas, además de entrar en sorteos que les permitirán pernoctar en las mismas, entre otras ventajas.

‘Huellas de Teresa’

 

En la ruta cultural, religiosa e histórica ‘Huellas de Teresa’ figuran importantes destinos como Salamanca, Segovia, Ávila o Burgos. Se creó en el marco de la conmemoración del V Centenario del Nacimiento de Santa Teresa, con una clara vocación de continuidad, para proyectar mundialmente los valores y el patrimonio ligado a Santa Teresa.

Se trata de una ruta libre, sin límite temporal, que permite múltiples opciones y que se adapta a las necesidades del turista y peregrino. Una forma diferente de conocer España a través de las localidades más importantes del Siglo de XVI de nuestro país. Toda la información está disponible en www.huellasdeteresa.com.
