En su cuarta edición, se hace coincidir con la II Feria de Ovino Segureño y Ganadería Extensiva de Caravaca
Una veintena de empresas de automoción y maquinaria agrícola montarán expositores en Gran Vía y Avenida de la Constitución, junto a una zona gastronómica de la Asociación de Comerciantes
Entre las actividades previstas, se encuentra el ‘Tic Festival’ y el Mercado de Antigüedades, Segunda Mano y Coleccionismo
Del 5 al 8 de octubre se sucederán distintas actividades lúdicas, culturales, gastronómicas y comerciales enmarcadas en la Feria de Caravaca de la Cruz, que en su cuarta edición incluye, entre las novedades, la II Feria de Ovino Segureño y Ganadería Extensiva.
El programa fue presentando por la edil de Turismo y Comercio, Gloria Gómez, junto a los concejales de Cultura y Festejos, Óscar Martínez, y de Agricultura, Ganadería y Medio Ambiente, Enrique Fuentes, quienes animaron a los todos los caravaqueños y visitantes a participar en la feria que tendrá distintos emplazamientos del casco urbano.
Los actos darán comienzo el martes 3 de octubre con la conferencia ‘¿Qué son las reformas de importancia en el Vehículo?’, que tendrá lugar en el Aula de Cultura de Cajamurcia, a las 20.30 horas, impartida por el profesor de la Universidad de Murcia, Antonio González Carpena.
El viernes 6 de octubre se realizará la inauguración de la feria de automoción y maquinaria agrícola, en la que participarán una veintena de expositores, instalados en Gran Vía, Plaza Paco Pim y avenida de la Constitución y se podrán visitar a lo largo de todo el fin de semana. Además, junto al complejo deportivo Francisco Fernández Torralba, se ubicará la feria de atracciones infantiles.
Dentro de las actividades culturales, el viernes 6 de octubre, a las 22.15 horas, el Thuillier acoge la III Comedy Naits, organizada por la peña caballista Terry. Participarán los humoristas Juanjo Albiñana, Albert Boira, Dabby Boy-Rovira y Bermúdez.
Siguiendo con el esquema de anteriores ediciones, el sábado 7 de octubre el paseo de La Corredera acogerá el Mercado de Antigüedades, Coleccionismo y Segunda Mano, que estará abierto al público de 10.00 a 21.00 horas y contará con actividades paralelas como títeres y teatro itinerante.
La noche del sábado 7 octubre queda reservada para el ‘TIC Festival’ (This is Caravaca Festival), que tendrá como escenario la Plaza de Toros y contará con las actuaciones de Mario Matallana, ‘El escote de Lucía’, ‘Umbría’, ‘La Manzana Dorada’, ‘Piezas & Jayder’, ‘La Regadera’ y los DJ Rajobos y ‘Nev DJ’. Las invitaciones para asistir a este nuevo festival, resultado del proyecto de presupuestos participativos aplicados al área de Juventud, se recogen de forma gratuita en el Centro Joven.
El domingo 8 de octubre, de 10.00 a 14.00 horas tendrá lugar una exhibición de medios por parte de la Guardia Civil, en el parque de educación Vial, junto al jardín Pedro García-Esteller.
La Asociación de Comerciantes y Hosteleros de Caravaca de la Cruz también participa en la feria con una zona de degustaciones gastronómicas, de productos típicos de la Comarca del Noroeste, que estará situada en Gran Vía, en el tramo comprendido entre avenida Maruja Garrido y Juan Carlos I.
II Feria de Ovino Segureño y Ganadería Extensiva de Caravaca
La Feria de Ovino Segureño y Ganadería Extensiva tendrá lugar junto a Salones Castillo de la Cruz, con distintas actividades, tales como degustaciones y venta de productos gastronómicos, visitas escolares y charlas. En una carpa se realizará la exposición de las ganaderías de las razas de ovino segureño, cabra celtibérica y oveja montesina.
En la exposición de gastronomía, participarán las denominaciones de origen murcianas de Vinos de Bullas, Quesos de Murcia y Arroz de Calasparra, junto a aceites, embutidos y otros productos característicos de la Región.
Entre las actividades previstas, cabe destacar la conferencia ‘Nuevos cortes en el cordero segureño’, que se celebrará el viernes 6 de octubre a las 20.00 horas, y la degustación a cargo de la IGP Cordero Segureño del sábado 7 de octubre, a las 13.00 horas.
“Con la organización de esta feria, el Ayuntamiento de Caravaca de la Cruz pretende desde distintas vertientes -profesional, didáctica y lúdica- el reconocimiento y difusión de una de nuestras señas de identidad y verdadera joya gastronómica como es el cordero segureño”, explicó el concejal Enrique Fuentes.
